RE: Big Brother in Mass....
Funny you should mention laser - driving up from a client site in Rhode
Island on 295 around Providence, I got shot by laser just after crossing
into MA. Second laser in a month, same site. Two Strate Poopers with a
laser, having real fun, gunsight and all. I have taken to being close
enough to the speed limit to be able (usually, red car and all) to
weasel by without undue attention. You see, I'm saving myself for the
track. As soon as I feel ready. Valentine 1 in this case notified me
that I had just exercised sufficient prudence to avoid a painful
reminder from my wife that tickets are EXPENSIVE! Not to mention STUPID.
Speed tax, I calls it. Thankfully MA has upped the limits a little on
most of the roads I drive.
