    I'd never pay that..but that's what they've been
negociated for in the last month. I too thought
them a bit high, but I was assured by Ronnie
at Black Book that these prices were arrived
at by averaging actual sales for the last
    30 days.

    I'd LOVE to find a 1992 V8Q with 33K for $15K as
someone else on the list suggested....is that an
insurance BBQ I smell in the driveway where my '90 V8Q
    is parked??

There is a downside to the way they calculate prices, lots
of cars that don't move much or are few in number aren't
listed or simply blank on the values. The "celebration"
edition VW's etc. are rarely priced, since either the
owners keep them or they're stuck on the lots.

As long as we're here, I firmly believe that there is a
hyp-mo-tizin effect from the teutonic pointy star. I've
witnessed people who normally comparison shop for gasoline
even when they've got their family pushing the car, plunk
down ridiculous amounts for MB cars worth sometimes HALF
of what they've paid. Like the man once said..there's one
    born every minute.

... Put on your seatbelt. I'm gonna try something new.
