FW: Rough Starting 5KS

Is the thermo time switch near the firewall on a 4000SQ also? I have
had similar problems and have been eyeing up a sensor in the front of
the engine where the radiator hose comes in
to the block. There are two sensors there one on the top and the other
on the bottom. I thought the bottom one was the Thermo Time Switch.
Can anyone verify this? Thanks in advance, Doug Evans

I think it's the sensor called the thermotime switch that is going bad
located at the back of the engine block i.e. the end facing the
firewall.
I had the same problem with the 85' 5000s that I used to own and I got
it
replace and the problem was fixed. I think it if I remember correctly
from
what my
mechanic told me this switch control the cold-start valve.
