Window Regulator slack

     Well, my window regulator is heading south again.  It stops at about 3 
     inches down from the top until I hit the down button again.  On 
     occasion it stops about 3 inches from the bottom while going up.  I 
     pulled the door panel and found that the cable has about 3/4 inch 
     slack in it.  Is this normal or should it be tight?
