HelP!!!!!!!

HELP ME please!
I am having a major problem with my '85 5000KQ
oops, it's and '84 anyways, I ran my car all day, ran fine.
got home, went to start it and nothing! DAMN IT! Tried changeing alternator,
brushes, condensor, nothing, now only my parking brake light will come on with
the ignition IF the parking brake is pulled, The OXS and seatbelt lights don't
come on, I called a localk AUDI specialist and he said if these lights don't 
come on, it doesn't give the alternator the message "charge!" 
Please, I am desperate and have my car torn apart, the weekend is coming and 
I hate not having my car running.
Any help will be greatly appreciated,
