I use a ''79 Saab turbo pressure switch it is adjustable I have mine set at
15psig. It is located near the firewall/master cylinder (on the Saab). The
later Saabs,'81...'84, use a no-nc switch located under the dash behind the
instrument cluster. I also use a pressure regulator on the wastegate and
another to adjust the advance of the ECU by limiting the pressure signal to
the ECU. The pressure switch is used to open a solenoid valve that pipes the
signal directly to the ECU, bypassing the pressure regulator. I can adjust
my boost and advance according to the gas used. Regular gas yields a safe
10psig boost.
