i'd say that unless you plan to drive at autobahn speeds or race the
car regularly, the savings in unsprung weight far outweighs the extra
stopping power.
i'm pretty happy with the coversion and have absolutely no complaints
about the stopping power while i revel in the improved handling and
ride from the lower unsprung weight. once i had to slam on the brakes
to avoid killing a psycho cat and the car stopped very well and the
cat lived. the abs kicked in though and this was in the dry, so
i would say that my tires were the limiting factor.
the 200tq brakes are nothing to sneer at.. 10.9 inches and twin
pistons compares pretty favorably with 10.1 that a lexus uses.
i believe that the S4/S6 as well as the 4.2 liter v8s use the same
non UFO 10.9 inch setup.
