wheel bearing noise
Hi Folks
Had an interesting problem, actually still do, loud groaning, whirring noise
coming from right front end of my 5000CSTQ when making left turns. Also a
clunking sound on bumps. Gee, sounds like a wheel bearing and maybe a strut
bearing right, BZZZZZZZT. Turns out to be a broken exhaust hanger. On bumps
the pipe would hit the body and make the clunk, on turns it vibrated against
the body and made the same sound as a dying wheel bearing.
Sometimes it's not the most obvious thing. Now all I have to do is fix it.
I also soldered in a working pressure sensor in my ECU and car is much
smoother on acceleration.
Getting the bugs out.
