Have sort of similar experience, i.e. would like to buy from closer
dealership but chose one that is another 50 miles away.  However stuck with
the closer dealership for service.  Someone from Audi called twice but was
out.  Believe lack of competition due to few Audi dealerships is the cause.
 My Lincoln Mercury dealer is great.  Sales and service people are very good.
 Always call and write to find out if vechile and service is fine.
