Number three is a feature rather than a bug.  It's documented in the manual
and my salesman actually pointed it out.

I agree that the climate control in my A4Q is taking a little getting used
to.  It's insistence on using the AC compressor all the time is annoying to
somebody who wants to use *all* of the horsepower available.

Maybe the refusal to re-circulate in non-AC mode is to combat fogging?

PS - On the 1.5K service: my salesman actually gave me a new service guide that
didn't list it.  I tried to get him to let me do it anyway and they just
won't do it under the service agreement... period.  What a stupid decision -
it's cheap insurance.  I'll just do it myself I guess...
