RE: anyone tried pirelli p7000's?
I ran P600s for a while, actually going through two sets of 4 before going to
Michelins on my Celica. I LOVED them. Great in the rain, not too sticky that
they were eaten up quickly, like I heard of Pirellis. I liked them better
than the Michelins and a lot better than the Goodyears on my A4Q. I want to
go back to either them or the 7000's for a trial when I eat the Eagles up.
Just my 2 cents.

Subject: anyone tried pirelli p7000's?
the tire rack web site and newsletter seems to have a heck of a lot of
"coverage" about this tire and i have to admit it has captured my
attention. i am particularly interested in its poor weather capabilities,
low weight, low noise and good comfort, something that the tire rack
testers found. so i was wondering if anybody here has a set and if so how
they like it. it is quite a bit pricier than the various dunlops, so i
was wondering if the extra price is just going into all the advertising!
i know that there are pirelli critics out there and i would be interested
in your comments only if your experiences are with the p7000 or current
generation tires. in other words, i would not be too interested in
hearing about pirellis of 10 or even 5 years ago as tire technology is
rapidly evolving and i don't believe that extrapolating that far back
yields anything meaningful.
