Sorry to hear about your A4Q misfortune but glad to hear you and everybody
else are O.K.  Thanks for your extensive report.

My A4Q was hit by a Toyota at a traffic light last weekend but luckily it was
OK.  Amazing the rear bumper was OK, must be less than 5 mph.  My kids then
lower my garage door the next day with my rear bumper jutting out and again
no scratches luckily. 

Give the Jeep guy some slacks as my wife was in his position last year and
believe me it is no fun to be in the receiving end.  Actually I agreed with
you and thats why I was calm and patient talking to him but my wife was upset
with me about letting him off easy without filing a police report.  If the
jeep guy filed a police report you will get a few hundred $ ticket.  My
minivan had a $9000 front and rear body job as it was pushed by the
Bonneville SSE into a Suburban.  If you are interested in this body shop in
San Carlos let me know.  I believe Carlsen also has a body shop.
