Audi Double Win in German STW Series

The third round of the German Super Touring Car Championship was held on
Friday at the Hockenheim circuit.  The first race - the shorter sprint - was
held in wet conditions, while the longer main event was run on a drying
track.  Fastest time in qualifying was set by Audi driver Philipp Peter,
while fastest race lap was set by double-winner Emanuele Pirro in his Audi A4
quattro.

With the two wins in this event, a second and third in the serie's second
event, and two firsts in the initial meeting, Pirro has a commanding lead in
the driver's point standings.  Apart from Steve Soper's second ranking, the
remainder of the top six are also Audi drivers, both from the factory team
and private entrants.
