window swithc cluster in 4KCSQ?

I have a rr front window switch that doesn't want to function anymore.  Someone
on the the list mentioned maybe a little sandpaper between the terminals, but I
can't seem to figure out how do get the switch cluster free from in front of the
shifter, in order to do some work on it.  Do the switches come out on their own?
Can that whole plate be removed.?
