A4Q Questions? + 1.8T and 2.8 30V?

I too am working through the buy now or wait for the improved 
models decision. Here is what I've found:

The most recent information I have from my dealer is the 1.8T
engine will become avaliable in Sept. but Audi has not determined
if they will be importing 1.8T quattros. This runs counter to
what has been reported on the list previously. Can anyone confirm?

The same dealer said that the 2.8 30V will defintely arrive for the
1997 model year but the timing as yet to be confirmed. Probably
not till the 1997 calendar year.
