5KCSTQ 4 sale, Columbus, OH

There is an '87 5KCSTQ for sale at an Audi dealer here (MAG) with some
unusual mods.
If the previous owner is on this list or if anyone knows who owned it would
you please let me know?
I'd like to know more about this car than the sales guy can tell me. 
All he can show me is the owners booklet and I'd like to know about the
car's history and what changes were made to it.
The car is Pearl w/ black interior, has BBS wheels, fiberglass skirting all
around, is lowered, and has other mods including possible chip upgrade.
There is an adjustable knob under the steering column which the saleman says
adjusts the boost but seems to have no effect on it and doesn't appear to be
connected to the wastegate.
