I have also recently purchased an A4 Turbo Q and can report that the dealers
brochure clearly describes the turbo as having an intercooler - this is an
official Audi brochure printed in Germany.
My car also has factory sports suspension, sports seats, sport steering wheel
and 16inch sports alloys with Continental Sportcontact 205/55 rubber and 187bhp
engine upgrade(up from standard 150bhp).

We in New Zealand have a wide range of A4s to choose from including 1.8L fwd
normally aspirated, 1.8 TDI diesel, 2.6L fwd, 1.8T quattro, 2.8L 30V fwd and
quattro due later this year. The local importer also offers several engine
upgrade options from Motoren Technik Mayer (MTM) backed with FULL Audi factory
warranty (3yrs unlimited mileage).
The standard motor has 150bhp.
These upgrades start at 187bhp - Motronic computer upgrade - as fitted to my
vehicle, then up to 210bhp - computer and exhaust change, then a 286bhp
scorcher with computer, exhaust, intake and turbo changes.
This latter upgrade gives a 0-100km/hr (62mph) time of 4.9s !
I have just changed from an Australian grunt machine called an HSV Senator
with 215kw (290bhp) and 475nm torque (?how many lbs-ft), and while I've stepped
down a bit in power, I've taken a quantum leap in NVH, quality, and handling
and I'm absolutely loving it.
