     If it's happening at idle..you've answered the last question.

     I'd check the servos and flaps for the climate control
     system. Sometimes they bind and make this constant clicking.

     Try various settings on the climate control to see if this
     effects the noise. It'll also make this noise sometimes
     at operating temp with the key on and the engine off
