I just had one die after only ten months.  Very disappointing.  Then the
clerk tried to get me to pay for an upgrade to the $77 "International"
model, claiming the exact replacement was out of stock.  Gee, somehow
I was able to find it on the shelf under its stock number.

They may also try to tell you that the warranty is not transferable.
Ask for the manager.

I would not buy a new battery from Sears.

Does Johnson Controls still sell automotive batteries under their own
or another name?
