Dealership in Engelwood has a tiptronic euro A8. He told me the US version is
automatic only, no tiptronic available. I asked about S6's and S8's, and he
said no. Can't even order them in US and pickup in Germany--would have to get
the EPA approval yourself!
Oh well, no 6 or 8 cylinder turbo's for us, especially not for those of us
who wait till that  quick depreciation makes the wonderful beasts somewhat
more affordable.
I drove up in my S6, and he was ready to hand me the keys(with escort). Those
in the area can check it out.
