More kitty questions . . .

I've been reading the post about the catalytic perverter questions with 
some interest.  I put a new exhaust pipe and muffler in from the cat 
back on my GT last summer.

Some time last fall/this winter my car has started a nasty 
vibration/rattling from the exhaust system once it has warmed up.  I 
have verified that it is _not_ the muffler or the pipe rubbing against 
anything else.  (I climbed under the car and checked tolerance while I 
could hear the noise.)

Now it sounds like the noise is coming from the muffler, but as I read 
these messages I'm beginning to wonder.  

Any suggestions?  Just a good time to try the new oxy-acetalene torch 
that came home last week?  <grin>
