InterCooler Fan?

Is there any reason I wouldn't want to jimmy-rig some kind of electric
pusher-fan to sit in front of my InterCooler?  Walking around the TQ last night
with the motor running, right in front of the radiator is amazingly cold, while
I couldn't leave my hand in front of the InterCooler for the heat.  I know
space is limited, but small fans can be had rather easily, any reason not to do
this?
