S4/S6 brakes

I unfortunately deleted the question with respect to the '93 S4
that was for sale. SOmeone said that they experienced light ABS
cycling during light braking. It manifests itself by a feeling
of 'crunchiness' in the brake pedal. Not a full-on ABS cycle,
but a lower amplitude version of the same thing.

How do I know what this is? We have the same thing on our new
'95.5 S6 wagon. It goes in Friday to get it fixed or explained
satisfactorily. It also has a wee problem with a maladjusted
handbrake switch - the light doesn't always go out when released.
SOmetimes it take a couple of foot brake applications to make
the light go away.

other than that, it's a great car. I can let you know what the
brake problems (if any) were next week.
