sounds familiar!  sounds like the correct diagnosis as well.

it's possible since there are not many S6s around :)

but it most certainly won't be the first audi that they've seen with
this problem since this is quite a common problem.  happened to my
car too.  what's unusual is that it failed so soon on your car.

yes.  mine went out after the 50K warranty.  with their help i
managed to get extended warranty to cover it even though it is
not listed explicitly in the contract.
