Looks like a quote out the the R & T article. Anywho, the Audi 80 of
the era used a 1471cc OHC-4 single carb engine outputting 75bhp(56Kw)
81lb.ft.(110nm). I doubt that the Iltis was tuned to those numbers
(more emphasis on torque).
FWIW the Iltis is the 'Jeep' used by the Canadian Armed Forces, built
under license by Bombardier (the Ski-Doo folks). Look D^mn cold in
the winter!
