And they're from the same mold as the crew that said (now don't watch
TOO close as I yank the steering wheel over) the Corvair is unsafe at
any speed. And the knuckleheads that said (boy, we really need to catch
one of the big 3 with their pants down to increase our readership, who
can we pay to make a good wreck?) the Chebby pick-em-up is prone to
explosion when hit from the side (as long as the Estes model rocket
motor ignites at the right time). I think their target reader has just
learned to read, and isn't too sure about them newfangled horseless
carriages. I actually use CR for two reasons: they are a good reference
for picking a washing machine (I fit into their demographics when it
comes to home appliances), and when it comes to anything involving
technology, just pick the one they pan. You will never be sorry ('cause
they already are).
