I agree 4k is way too much....

I have seen them for $3,500 Dealer ASKING price with 
70 k or so miles and good condition, as in no rust/rips/
dents etc....

For a car that is already rusting I wouldn't go any higher than
$2,000.-   just my opinion.... :-)
