Buying a used '93 S4...pitfalls?

Hi folks :)

Saw a very nice used 1993 S4 the other day for sale and wondered if there 
are 
any major pitfalls associated with them.  I currently own an '88 5000tq 
so I'm familiar with the usual stuff like: eats brakes, eats suspension 
parts, a/c compressor/controller, brake bomb, blah blah blah....

My question..is there anything unusual to be alarmed about with S4's?  

Someone mentioned a possible tranny glitch with them...true?

What about the "inside the windshield" radio antenna, any good?
