I'm truly sorry to hear about your son's misfortune, but I'm even more, happy
to hear of his (and thus, your) great GOOD fortune.  Thank god he's alive, a
few broken bones and some transitory pain may open his eyes and insure an even 
longer life! (and it makes for great war stories...)
