Re: Need Rear Dr Handle

If you need a replacement handle because the lever or spring is broken, I
strongly suggest getting the repair kit from Mountain Automotive Parts (no
affiliation whatsoever). They have repair kits for the front and rear. The
first one costs $26.95 'cause it has a special tool. Add'l ones cost $17.95.
Two day delivery to boot. Of course, this only works if the lever is broken.

I just did both my front handles for $45, which sure beats the cost of two new
handles.

Subject: Need Rear Dr Handle

Dear Quattrophiles-

Does anyone have a drivers side rear door handle they want to get rid of/sell?
The car is an 86 4kcsq, but I think any Audi rear handle of approximately
that vintage would work.

Perhaps someone has a suggestion for a good cheap source for new.
