RE: S4/S6 vs. 200TQ 20V
I'd take the distributorless ignition just to get rid of that stupidly
designed distributor. On the 200 20v it sits on its side at the back of
the engine. Its driveshaft has a groove spiralling along the length of
it which supplies the distributor with oil. This is all well and good,
but since it's a horizontal shaft and the distributor is on its side,
the oil doesn't drop back down - out of the dist. - and just sits there
and eats away at the seals. There is no such thing as new seals
apparently. It's a whole new distributor. At least AoA ended up paying
for the new one I just got...
