RE: Impala SS Warning
I (read: the wife) have a 91 Caprice Classic LTZ with HD suspension,
etc. Specs for the car are 60 - 0 in 115 ft (faster than the Audi 100 is
rated!) and pulls .80 lateral G's. Not bad for a 4000 lb monster. I was
in Montana for Memorial day and was able to set cruise at 104
comfortably. (Engine is turning 2500 at 85mph). There is a governor at
110 - was able, however, to suprise a volvo 850 at 95. :-)
