Phone Clones ...

It is not necessary to clone your phones to have them operate on the 
same number anymore.  I think that it is a fairly recent development, 
but all the major providers in the San Francisco, California area have
a standard program that allows you to have a single number assigned to
two differnt phones.  The provider does stipulate that only one can be 
in use at a time.  I don't know if that means that you can't have them 
both powered up but inactive simultaneously ...
