A4 rear speakers

OK, I promise this will be the last question until
my next one....  :-)

How does one remove the speakers on the rear deck in
the A4?  They are obviously top-mounted, but I don't see
any way of getting the grills off.  I tried just pulling
the grills, assuming there was a snap of some sort, but
no luck... felt as though I was at the "something's gonna
break any second" point.  Does the entire deck need to
come off, and if so, how?
