I can tell your friend that my 1990 CQ is the best Audi I've ever owner (3
previous GTs, and 1 5k turbo), they are rare, drop dead good looking, and
wonderful to drive!

The price seems right, I bought mine in December for 10,200, and that was way
below book value!  As long as he can afford to put some money into it, and is
prepared for the parts costs, I say go for it....most of all, the yellow is
the most rare CQ of them all!
