Re: Bomb Warning removal

Scott McPherson posted on disconneting the warning for
a bad bomb (low assist/low pressure warning)
Well, I did the same by just pulling the connector off closest
to the firewall but I have a question reguarding safety
Does this switch/indicator tell me if my master cylinder
is going or gone? Will it tell you before you attempt to brake??
If so I may just replace the bomb and hook up the switch.
Also, has anyone had there master cylinder go out without
any signs before hand (soft pedal, etc.) If so please respond.

I would like to point out that a bad bomb is not a random inconvenience,
it seriously annihilates your ability to control ("modulate") the brakes
in an emergency/panic situation.

Fix the bloody things, they aren't *that* hard or expensive.
