As with most things in life dealing with money, unless it's in writing,
he's screwed. If it is in writing, then the dealer is screwed.

Check the contract carefully.

I'd walk away from it. $50/month = $1800, which is a LARGE increase
in the price of this car. The dealer is BSing him big-time. Even if
it's not in writing, I'd tell him to give that BS right back.

Walk if he can't get satisfaction. There are other A4Qs out there.
