a weird problem with 86 5ktq

        Help!!

        The problem is whenever my 86 5tq is cold it barely starts if at
all.  When it does start it idles at barely 100 RPM (really) and requires
constant revving just to keep it going.  Continues to die and shudder
unless under full acceleration until the temp gauge comes up.  If it is
restarted warm it seems to run good except if any portion of the climate
control is on and then it revs by itself between 1000 and 3000 rpm at idle.
I can't get any abnormal codes out of the computer memory either.  Anyone
know what to do?  (My fuel consumption is also pretty bad, 15-17 mpg)
