Let me know if you ever want to give it away. I could use that new motor
in my '85 4KSQ.:-). As an aside. I had to rebuild the Clutch Master
Cylinder in my '85. I talked to a couple of audi guys about it, and they
said that the slaves rarely if ever go bad. That it is the M/C that
craps out. Bleeding it on the other hand s--ks. I used a cheap one man
bleeder that has a hose and check valve, put it in a jar of brake fluid,
and pumped the s--t out of the pedal by hand. just make sure that you
watch the level in the reservoir. If you are interested in a bentley
manual for you 4KSQ i will let you have it for about 1/2 price. I'll
even throw in an IPC parts catalog with price list.
Let me know. I'll be back on this evening.
