RE: Bad radio reception & some other questions
Not sure if it's amplified, but I think so. It has a power lead going to
the radio/cell splitter, so it might be. I have not connected the power
lead and FM reception is OK, AM I could care less about, cell is as good
as a permanently mounted cell phone.
The mfg is Brazilian, I got it drop shipped (purchased from Rapid Parts)
from Antenna World (9500 Nw 12th St., Miami, FL 33172-2830,
305.471.9507). If you are able to set an account up with Antenna World,
they quoted me about $100 for it (Rapid Parts marked it up to about
$160, before I knew about this list and what choice and power I had).
