Re: Castrol Syntec in Audis
I bet if you change your oil more than every 5k, you wouldn't be
burning any oil:)

I run Castrol Syntec in all my cars (5000T '85 and 5000CS T '87 and Maserati
Bitrubo Si '87) and in my lawnmower and in my lawnmower tractor....
All engines run better, start better in all temperatures, burn less (no) oil
and runs the engine slightly cooler. I am unsure of the explanation of the
less oil burning. I have friends with Audis and they have put the oil in
reluctantly on my recommendation and they are exstatic, too. It appears to
be especially good in the Audi engines. The change was less noticeable on
the Maserati. My oldest Audi used to burn a quart every 5000 miles on
regular oil. Now it does not. That product is absolutely positively
wonderful. I used to have a Audi works educated German Meister as my
mechanic, Juergen Ankert when I was out in Phoenix. I had him try it and you
guessed it, him too.... On the subject on excellent, if you are in Phoenix
and need the best Audi mechanic that ever lived. He is it.
