Ok, tried some brake fluid on the 45 mile interstate trip
to the "local" dealer. It was running out like water by
the time I found the place. Dont' know if it was the BF
or the mile long stop lights I got stuck in.

The "official" fluid purchased at the dealer made it home
ok and only leaves the now expected puddles.

Question: I noted somewhere the pentosin is, as you say,
a mineral oil. However the green fluid the dealer sold
me "for an Audi" clearly states it is a "petroleum
product." Also, it was $10 a pint, where is the
bargain $15 a quart stuff?

Also, is "pentosin" audi-speak, or is it a general
product name? Anybody have any spec or reference
numbers on it? Anybody ever check a farm supply
store for some green hydraulic fluid?
