Re: URGENT / Update on Clutch

My clutch experience has been that the slave cylinder goes first. I purchased
my second quattro about a year ago. The owner had just replaced the clutch
master and slave cylinders. The slave just went a few days ago. Most of the
time, the slave goes due to the harsher environment, hotter, more dirt, etc.
Local parts store has rebuild kits about $45 and new slaves for $92.

Any thoughts on the effect of the fluid on the clutch when it drains into the
transmission?

Now that I have the pin out, what is the best way to get the thing out?
