RE: Exhaust for 5000S

Hello all,

I have a question that may seem like a stupod idea to some
but I woul like to know how much power and if any dmage will
occur to my engine if......
I run my exhaust with only a cat (remove mufflers) or
just cut off the rear muffler and run a pipe.
I am not conerned about emission at all.

Should be no problem at all. This is exactly how I run the RA IV 455HO 'Bird, ur-q and the 4KQ race car, though I have welded SuperTrapps onto the very ends of the pipes so I can easily attach baffles to make em quiet enough to pass state inspection, etc. Works excellent and is very light as well as very inexpensive - and no more mufflers to rust out and replace!
