Re: Water Cooled Turbo Conversion Parts Required

     Steve/Bob,
Thanks for your comments on plumbing in the pump for recirculating water
after the engine is turned off, seems like a good idea. If I have time
I'll follow up on this, though I'll probably just stick with letting the
engine idle for a while and maybe go with a turbo-timer later on.
Incidentally the car is an '85 ur-q.

On another topic, at the moment access to the engine is really good since
the right wing and whole front section have been removed. Do you know easy
it is to replace the air filter on an ur-q if you remove the right wing and
cut off the front? Answer: Very easy, almost makes you wonder why Audi
engineers don't take this approach, but then again it's probably quicker
and they wouldn't be able to charge as much as they do for the standard
method. Ooops, sorry about the sarcasm, but it's been a loooong week and
I'm kind of worried about the fluid dripping from the bottom of the
transmission looks awfully like brake fluid from the slave cylinder.....
I'm sure these cars have Extra Sensory Perception.

Thanks again for all your comments, I'll keep you posted on what happens.

     Regards, Mike
