I TRIED THE RIGHT ANGLE DRILL METHOD ONCE! I WAS LUCKY I DIDNT DAMAGE
THE HEAD AND MORE LUCKY THE STUDS CAME RIGHT OUT CAUSE SOME NICE GERMAN
FACTORY EMPLOYEE USED ANTISIEZE TO INSTALL THE EXAUST STUDS. PLUS THE
CAR SPENT A GREAT DEAL OF ITS LIFE IN ARIZONA,"LAND OF NO RUST"
MY RECOMMENDATION WOULD BE FIRST, REMOVE AND REPLACE ALL EXAUST STUDS
FOR THEIR FAIRLY CHEAP NEW. AS FOR THE MANIFOLD TRY TO FIND A QUALITY
USED UNIT FIRST (DEPENDING ON PRICE) I'VE GOT A FRIEND WHOM HAS A SPARE
SO TO SAY, SITTING IN HIS GARAGE!! I HAD MY HAEDER AND DOWN PIPE JET-HOT
COATED AND AFTER 3 YEARS IT STILL LOOKS NEW!!!
PULLING THE HEAD IS ONLY AN OPTION BASED ON YOUR CONFIDENCE AND ABILITY
TO DRILL AT AN ODD ANGLE!! THE EASTWOOD COMPANY 1-800-345-1178
(eastwoodco@aol.com) SELLS LEFT HANDED DRILLBITS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED
TO REMOVE BROKEN STUDS.(PART #1519)
GOOD LUCK!
