I normally select my computer to read boost pressure. It's a hulla lot better
than avg MPG, gallons burned since I last fired it up, etc. etc.
However, you're right, it is really nothing more than informational when behind
the wheel. You should be able to mash the pedal to the metal and not have to
worry about over boosting the engine, there are controls for that.
I would mount it out of the line of sight, somewhere where it will look very
cool.....
