It doesn't get a whole lot easier:
Three clips (mine only has two but there should be three) and two screws and one
electrical connector. Use a long flat bladed screw driver to undo the screw
near the fender in the back. The other screw is on the clamp that holds the air
flow/mass sensor. (the round tube thingy on top). Disconnect this and unplug
the wire connector (I think you PUSH the spring clip toward the connector) and
lift the top of the air filter box off.
Replacement is the reverse. Be careful not to pinch the filter edges when
replacing the top (make sure you have a good seal) and don't forget to reconnect
the round hose clamp.
If you are doing a tune-up: The spark plugs should have a yellow/orange plug
wire removal tool that sits on one of the plug wires. You don't have to have
super fingers to pull the wires off.
This very easy procedure is cleverly hidden on page 26.16 in the Bentley.
