Re: Tranny - have to rev engine to go into reverse
Never had it happen to an Audi, but had it on a Taurus. It progresses
over about a year and then reverse would not ingage at all.
Do you make a complete stop before you shift out of reverse and into
drive or visa-versa?? Because if you don't, you're experiencing the
result. If you have been paying respects to auto engineering, than I can
tell you that we had to reaplace the tranny on the Taurus.
But then in the Audi your mishap can be related to something else and I'm
saying total nonsense.
