After an extensive tour through Germany , visiting all the great tuning
houses, I was able to find out enough info to build a "proper" motor for
my Coupe GT. My TQC was easy to hyp up. The "naturaly aspirated" motor
is a bit tougher. Plus SCCA weekends helped out the crave for more
power.

I started with new Mahle 83 mm 10.5-1 pistons. Found a 92.8 mm crank
in Belgium. Got a block with the "oil squirters". Picked up a "factory"
big valve head, with 40mm intake & 35mm exaust. Ported and polished the
head, intake runner, & throttle body. Valves were treated to a special 5
angle seat. Topped off with a Schrick Assymetric 272 cam and springs,
and an adjustable cam sprocket.
The air box mods include a 4 inch "cool-air" intake. Exaust is
dumped through a custom, Jet-hot coated, tube header, to a 2.5 inch
custom stainless exaust system.
    Jacobs Ignition handles the spark.
The drive train has been modified to handle the power more efficently.
Its five cylinders of fun! and loves racing gas!
